Cultural Exchange
Connecting cultures and communities through respect, inclusion and participation.
Cultural exchange helps people from different backgrounds understand one another. NORTHLINK supports Australia–China cultural dialogue and multicultural community life in Queensland, with respect, inclusion and participation at its centre.
Australia–China cultural exchange
Share stories, ideas and cross-cultural experiences that introduce different ways of life and perspectives. A conversation can become the beginning of a lasting connection.
Community cultural activities
Explore community gatherings, shared interests and family-friendly participation. Confirmed programme details, dates, locations and accessibility arrangements will be published before an event opens.
Celebrations and the arts
Make room for music, visual arts, traditional crafts and cultural celebrations. Works and event photographs will be shared only with appropriate permission and respect for creators and cultural custodians.
Education and community cooperation
Encourage educational institutions, community organisations and volunteers to exchange experience and explore cultural learning, youth engagement and community participation. No unconfirmed institutional authorisation is implied.
Take part in a meaningful exchange
Suggest an activity by outlining its theme, audience, language needs and required support. We value safety, equity and cultural awareness, and will clarify participation guidance and photography arrangements during event planning.
